A Storyteller
As a dedicated and passionate professional journalist, I have had the privilege of contributing to some well respected publications in the industry. With a strong focus on the world of music and entertainment, I've written news and feature articles for both Mixdown and Beat Magazines, two renowned Melbourne home-grown publications that have allowed me to explore the dynamic and ever-evolving music scene, both in Melbourne, Australia-wide, and internationally. Additionally, my journalistic journey has been enriched through my association with RMIT's The City Journal, where I've had the opportunity to dive into a wide range of topics and share compelling stories with a broad audience.
In 2022 and 2023, my commitment to delivering accurate and engaging news extended beyond the written word. I had the honor of making appearances on RMIT's televised Newline program, a platform that provided a unique opportunity to engage with viewers through multimedia journalism. These experiences have not only honed my storytelling skills but have also allowed me to adapt to the evolving landscape of journalism, making me a versatile and well-rounded professional in the field.
Currently, I work in a full-time role with the Star Weekly as a local reporter, covering issues across the Melton and Moorabool local government areas, spanning local, state, and federal politics, crime, community events, and everything in-between.
With each new assignment and every article I write, I am driven by a deep-seated passion for journalism and an unwavering commitment to delivering informative, thought-provoking, and impactful content. My journey in journalism has been marked by curiosity, dedication, and a pursuit of knowledge, and I look forward to continuing to write and share stories with an engaged audience.
